This Privacy Policy describes Product's practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of the information we collect from and about you when you use Teams for Easyvista application (the "Service").
The Symplifyr maintains an information security program that protects Information Processing System(s) and media containing the Client's Information from internal and external security threats,; as same as from unauthorized disclosure.
In order to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of client's information during the provision of services under this service, Symplifyr implements appropriate technical and organizational measures, according to the requirements of the GDPR.
Personal information we collect and process about you
Personal information that we collect directly from youIT Support
When contacting our support team for assistance via contact support form, we will ask you to provide the following information:
- Full name
- E-mail address
- Company
- Communication information
- Any attachments that you provide
This processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with you as outlined in our terms and conditions. We store your personal information only as much as required and for the duration of our business relationship, which involve the inception and fulfillment of a contract, or up to three years as per the standard limitation period with the aim to defend ourselves against or assert our legal claims.
Personal information that we collect automaticallyFirst login and use of Service
When you start using our Service we will automatically collect certain information from your Microsoft Teams profile to verify your identity and permissions (user authorization). This information includes OAuth tokens, your company's Easyvista subdomain and account ID, and your Easyvista and Microsoft Teams user IDs. We retain this data permanently, but it will be deleted as soon as your organization stops using the Service. To allow users of the Service to identify each other for the efficient and secure interactions (user identification) we will also automatically collect such information as your first and last names, business email address, profile picture, and your organization name. This information is stored for up to 180 minutes after the session starts.
The above processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with you as outlined in our terms and conditions.
Log FilesWhen you use the Service, our servers automatically record certain anonymized information into the server logs. These server logs include information such as your web request, browser type and settings, referring/exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links on the Service, domain names, landing pages, viewed pages, date and time stamp information and other similar information. Log files help us to monitor, analyze, improve, and maintain the Service, and also diagnose and fix any Service-related issues.

The security of your information is important to us. We use commercially reasonable and industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and confidentiality of your information. For example, all data we transfer or store is encrypted for security.

You have the right to:- Access your personal data held about you and to learn the origin of the data, the purposes and ends of the processing, the details of the data controller(s), the data processor(s) and the parties to whom the data may be disclosed;
- Object under certain conditions to the processing of your personal data;
- Withdraw your consent at any time where your personal data is processed with your consent;
- Update or correct your personal data so that it is always accurate;
- Delete your personal data from our records if it is no longer needed for the purposes indicated above;
- Restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, for example where you have contested the accuracy of your personal data, for the period enabling us to verify its accuracy;
- Obtain your personal data in an electronic format;
- File a complaint with us and/or the relevant data protection authority.
Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to persons under 16. The Service does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 16 or knowingly allow such persons to register for an account on the Service. If we become aware of the fact that we have collected personal information from a child under age 16 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information.
Recipients of personal data
We may share your personal data with third-party providing us with technology services for data collection, storage and use.
International Data transfer
The data required to enable linking between your accounts in Microsoft Teams and Symplifyr product is transferred, collected, and stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
Where permitted by law, we may transfer, and/or deal with your personal data outside the United States. In doing so, we will comply with all the applicable data protection and privacy laws. Whenever we transfer this data, we take steps to protect it.
Links to other websites
We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to from within the Service, nor the information or content contained therein. Please remember that when you use a link to go from the Service to another website, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect and your activities on that third party website is subject to such third-party website's own rules and policies.
Do not track signals
Some browsers have a Do Not Track feature that allows you to tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. Currently, we do not respond to Do Not Track signals.
Duration of data storage
We keep your personal data for as long as it is necessary to do so to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected as described above.
Changes to our privacy policy
If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, they will be posted on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we might use that information and under what circumstances we may disclose it. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
